Since 1975, Boon Brewery has been owned and run by Frank Boon, among the pioneers of the authentic revival that was lambic and gueuze. In 1860 Louis Paul purchased the brewery to brew faro and only lambic. From 1875, he started bottling gueuze lambic. In 1898, the brewery was purchased by Pierre Troch. But into the control of Joseph De Vits, it came after the economic crisis of 1927. His son, Rene is famous for the creation of soft and fine gueuze lambic.
